Trinity has a rich heritage of reaching out with the Gospel message – across the world and across the street. We strive today to continue that tradition and to build upon it, adapting for our 21st century city and world.
The Missions & Outreach Board (MOB) oversees Trinity’s ministries that reach out with a “cup of cold water” and a life-giving message. Members of the 2013 MOB: Vic Heiner, chair; Cathy Aust, Suzanne Caquelin, Eleanor Carlson, Mark Johansson, and Dean Lambert. Local Impact Team
The Local Impact Team (LIT) works to connect us with our local neighborhood and the city around us. LIT continues to build ministry around several key areas:
(1) Impacting Trinity’s Immediate Community, (2) Meeting Needs in the Inner City, (3) Recovery Ministry, (4) Training/Equipping & Expanding Our Worldview, (5) Seasonal Sharing Opportunities.
International Missions
The Global Missions Team (GMT) oversees Trinity’s missions ministry around the world. Members of the Global Missions Team: Suzanne Caquelin, Sarah Heiner, Dean Lambert, Kathy Naefke, LaVonne Nerge.
Advocate Teams are being developed to support and encourage each missionary and provide better connection between the missionary and the congregation. Eight “A-teams” currently are in place with plans for teams to be developed for the remaining missionaries in the next few months.
The Missions Finance Team handles financial support for Trinity’s sponsored missionaries through Missions Fund budget and giving. The team welcomes any comments or questions you may have about this process. Missions Finance Team members are: Victor Heiner, Dean Lambert, Dave Leeman, and Dave Peterson.
